South of a cold front, mid level support and upper level jet dynamics helped form and enhance showers and thunderstorms in eastern Ohio during the late evening on the 12th. These clusters trained east into north central West Virginia near the Route 50 corridor. In this maximum rainfall band, amounts were on the order of 2 to 4 inches from about 0000E to 0400E on the 13th.
