Hundreds of trees and power lines were blown down across the county due to the tropical system Ivan. Twenty to thirty homes suffered varying degrees of damage, mainly roof damage. Power was not completely restored for at least 4 days. Maximum wind gusts were estimated around 70 miles an hour.
