A moderate low moved from the southwest Bering Sea to the Bering Strait Friday evening, October 22nd. This resulted in strong gusty west wind that briefly peaked at 85 mph in the Pribilof Islands. The strong west wind resulted in significant damage to the break water to the Harbor in St George.
