FloodZoneMap.org provides free, instant flood zone lookups by address using FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer and other public datasets. We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use the site.
Address lookups: When you enter an address to look up its flood zone, that address is sent to our server, geocoded via the U.S. Census Bureau or ArcGIS, and used to query FEMA's flood-hazard data. We do not store your individual lookups against your identity. Aggregate query patterns may be retained for performance and abuse-prevention purposes.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, what devices and browsers are used. Google Analytics uses cookies. The data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Server logs: Our web server automatically records basic access information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). These logs are used for security and debugging and are not shared with third parties.
This site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and may use cookies served by advertising partners (see Advertising below). We do not use cookies for site authentication; you do not need to log in to use FloodZoneMap.org.
