Two rounds of severe storms came through the Kansas City metro area on back to back nights, both taking place late in the evening and lasting through the overnight hours. Both events were nearly identical in evolution, with a strong QLCS each night producing scattered wind damage. The June 4 QLCS produced a couple weak and brief EF-0 tornadoes that did some minor damage.

On the morning of March 26, 2018 scattered thunderstorms moved through eastern Kansas, producing marginally severe hail. The heavy rain also caused some minor flash flooding across Cass and Jackson Counties.

On the evening of May 27 a few scattered storms moved through the area, bringing some marginally severe hail and wind gusts. There was also some isolated flooding with these heavy rain producers.

Several rounds of thunderstorms, producing large hail, damaging winds and heavy rains, developed over eastern Kansas and tracked east into western Missouri during the afternoon and evening hours of October 1st. The storms developed in the vicinity of a quasi-stationary boundary as an upper-level shortwave trough tracked through the region.

Severe thunderstorms were observed over much of the area, during the afternoon and evening hours of July 30, 2010. There were two funnel cloud reports, and several reports of damaging winds and flash flooding.
