An upper level disturbance moved southeast across the Nebraska Panhandle during the early afternoon. Thunderstorm rapidly developed along a semi stationary front that quickly intensified to produce large hail and damaging winds. The slow movement of the storms created heavy rainfall with flash flooding on Lodgepole Creek in Deuel County.
