Scattered thunderstorms developed across north central Nebraska and portions of southwest Nebraska and moved south.

A semi stationary front across the plains over a three day period remained the focus for thunderstorm development on June 11th. The thunderstorms developed initially on the high plains and spread east and intensified producing several large hail events and an isolated tornado in western Nebraska. Flash Flood — May 4, 1999

Very heavy rain began late in the morning or early afternoon as a nearly stationary line of thunderstorms . Radar estimated rainfall of 6 inches or more fell in a period from 5:30 AM CDT to 4:20 PM CDT in north central Nebraska causing widespread flooding of roads and fields in eastern Loup County and southwest Garfield County.
