Very heavy rain continued over several days at the end of June. Three to five inches of rain fell from Minot through Sherwood, and from Crosby through Lignite to Stanley. Slow moving non-severe thunderstorms moved into western North Dakota late on May 31 and continued on June first. Thunderstorms were training and slow moving and resulted in flooding in northwest North Dakota, especially Divide and Williams counties, on June first.
