Weak upper low and surface wave/inverted trough moved into far NE IN/far west central Lower MI and NW Ohio. Large theta E deficit kept storms in check across Indiana and Michigan, but a few storms produced marginally severe weather in northwestern Ohio.

Thunderstorms produced torrential rainfall in portions of northwestern Ohio. Numerous thunderstorms moved into northwestern Ohio during the overnight hours of July 2nd into July 3rd. Reports of flash flooding were received in Fulton County.

Flash Flood — Feb 17, 1998

Heavy thunderstorm rain caused flooding of roads, basements and low lying areas. Basement flooding was particularly prevalent in Point Place near Toledo in Lucas County.
