An ice jam developed along the Hudson River in the Town of Thurman causing water and ice to flow over Route 418 (River Street) between River Road and Hickory Hill Road. Water began to flow over the road during the evening hours on Saturday, February 19 causing the road to close. The water and ice eventually receded on Monday, February 28, allowing the road to reopen.
