A pre-frontal squall line moved across the area during the pre-dawn hours and shifted off of the local Atlantic coast during the morning, which produced an early morning tornado in Nassau County. Another wave of strong to isolated severe storms impacted the local area in the afternoon with convection that formed along the actual cold front. Non-convective gradient wind gusts were 30 to 40 mph outside of thunderstorm activity.
