A cold front moving through the area brought multiple rounds of rain on April 7th. The front approached and a low pressure system developed over the area resulting in moderate to heavy rain over the Lower Hudson Valley in New York. 2 to 3 inches of rain fell over a several hour period. This resulted in river and poor drainage flooding.
