The Big Sioux River was in minor flood stage near Castlewood from the end of May through June 4th, and in minor flood stage at Broadway Avenue in Watertown from the end of May through the morning of June 1st. The flooding was a result of prior heavy rainfall, and resulted in minor impacts to low-lying agricultural lands.
