Thunderstorms developed across north central Oklahoma and south central Kansas on May 31st near an outflow boundary, and moved through southeastern Kansas, far northeastern Oklahoma, and southwestern Missouri during the early morning hours of June 1st. Widespread heavy rainfall of up to six inches in southeastern Kansas, resulted in moderate flooding of the Neosho River near Commerce.
