During the afternoon hours on the 6th, isolated storms developed over Eastern Colorado and evolved into a line of storms that moved east into Northwest Kansas through the night. These storms produced wind gusts estimated up to 60 mph across Cheyenne County, Colorado along with up to penny sized hail and heavy rain up to 4.5 inches.
