Minor flooding was ongoing at the start of July 2022, with a slow fall in river levels. However, heavy rainfall which totaled 5 to 7 inches fell in a very small portion of the mid to upper-James River Basin during the first week of July and resulted in a mid- to late-month crest before another slow fall.
