Flash Flood — Hopkins, KY

Heavy Rain

Scattered thunderstorms developed during the heat of the day ahead of a cold front. One of these storms produced a damaging microburst, and another caused flash flooding of roads. The cold front trailed southwest from a low pressure center over the Great Lakes region across northern Illinois and central Missouri.
