Two rounds of thunderstorms developed across portions of southeast California, one round during the very early morning hours, between midnight through 4 am local time and another round during the mid to late afternoon hours. The early morning round was instigated by outflow boundaries that moved westward into southeast California from the decaying storm complex across southwest Arizona during the evening hours on the 12th.
