A cold front interacting with a warm and humid airmass triggered several clusters of strong to severe thunderstorms across parts of central Illinois during the evening of September 18th into the early morning of September 19th. The storms were concentrated along and north of I-74 and along and southwest of a Rushville to Springfield line.
