Flash Flood — Webster, KY

Widespread rain with numerous embedded thunderstorms persisted through the overnight hours of the 15th into the early morning hours of the 16th. Locally heavy rainfall caused some pockets of flash flooding of roads and low spots. A surface low pressure system moved northeast across Arkansas along a warm front that extended northeast through the lower Ohio Valley. Rainfall became widespread along the warm front as the low pressure center approached the Ohio Valley.
