A slow moving frontal boundary perusing the area on March 24th led to prolonged periods of heavy rain across southeast Ohio. Repetitive showers promoted high water concerns in Vinton and Athens County during the late morning hours of the 24th with road closures continuing into the early morning hours of the 25th.
