An unseasonal local Nor'Easter weather event developed April 9th into the 10th as an area of low pressure formed offshore of the central FL Atlantic coast along a lingering frontal zone as high pressure strengthened north of the region with an axis 'wedged' southward across inland GA. Strong NNE wind gusts range from 35 to 49 mph across coastal counties and the St. Johns River basin with the peak of the winds occurring during the evening of April 9th.
