A stalled frontal boundary was in place for a couple days across the region. This feature was the focal point for numerous showers and thunderstorms. Weak mid level flow aided in slow movement of storms that did develop. One of those stronger slow moving storms produced flash flooding around Baton Rouge and hail in Galliano.
