On the afternoon of June 19th, a low pressure system settled down into Central Kentucky, promoting scattered showers around the Ohio River Valley. As a result of heavy rain in eastern Kentucky, one instance of flash flooding was observed in Carter County when high water issues arose during the evening rush hour along Route 60.
