An upper-level trough west of the region focused a series of short-wave troughs across the local area. The upper-level forcing combined with high moisture combined with a low level 850 mb jet of 35 kts enhanced morning convection across NE FL. Isolated strong to severe storms expanded north and east across NE FL and SE GA into the afternoon and evening.
