Monsoon thunderstorms produced heavy rain and hail in the form of 1 to 2 plus inches of rainfall in the Albuquerque metro area. This resulted in numerous reports of flash flooding in the northeastern area of Albuquerque. Strong wind gusts were also observed at sites across the White Sands Missile Range.
