Localized heavy rainfall occurred across some coastal areas as a broad surface low moved onshore north of Nassau County Florida. South to southwest winds around the low across NE FL focused sea breeze convection toward the Atlantic coast in the afternoon over a moist and unstable airmass where locally heavy rain caused minor flooding.
