A strongly forced line of storms moved across the plains and into the Missouri Ozarks during the late afternoon into the evening. As the storms moved into the region severe storms produced widespread wind damage with winds measured as high as 61 mph. Numerous trees and power lines were downed by high winds, one of which fell into a home injuring 3 residents. The storms took advantage of a very moist airmass to result in very efficient rainfall.
