A strong coastal system pushing offshore resulted in increasing surge values upwards of 2-3 feet above the astronomical tides, which will resulted widespread and impactful |coastal flooding issues with the high tides on February 13th. The peak of the surge coincided with the high tide along much of the Atlantic coast of New Jersey.

Post Tropical Cyclone Ida brought heavy rain to New Jersey on September 1. Rainfall totals were as high as 5 to 10 inches. The heavy rain caused significant flash flooding, mainly in the northern half of the state. It resulted in widespread property damage.
