Strong Winds and Widespread Precipitation Impact Southern California on March 2. The strongest winds were reported in the mountains and along the desert slopes, where gusts over 70 mph occurred. Widely beneficial precipitation fell, but reports of flooding were received in the San Bernardino County Mountains.
