Persistent rain across portions of Codington and Hamlin counties resulted in flooding along the South Branch Tributary of Mud Creek, along with a brief rise above flood stage for the Big Sioux near Castlewood. Rainfall measured by the Watertown and Castlewood COOPs topped out at 1.35 and 1.36 inches respectively. The South Branch Tributary of Mud Creek entered flood stage on June 22nd at 7pm CST and remained above flood until 315pm CST on June 23rd, with a peak of 4.66 feet, though no impacts we
