Persistent rain across portions of Codington and Hamlin counties resulted in flooding along the South Branch Tributary of Mud Creek, along with a brief rise above flood stage for the Big Sioux near Castlewood. Rainfall measured by the Watertown and Castlewood COOPs topped out at 1.35 and 1.36 inches respectively.
