A front arrived on the 13th, and settled into the state from Missouri. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms developed along the front from the late afternoon into the early morning hours of the 14th. Precipitation was concentrated across the western half of Arkansas. There was some severe weather, with areas of heavy rain and flash flooding.
