Scattered showers and storms tracked south and east out of Virginia and into central to eastern portions of North Carolina during the afternoon to late evening hours. These storms formed ahead of a stalled frontal boundary along the North Carolina and Virginia border. The storms remained below severe limits, but some isolated flash flooding was reported in Guilford County with some slow moving storms.
