The center of an area of high pressure was located near the Four Corners, a near |perfect location for the monsoon moisture to continue spreading over northern Arizona. This brought the continuation of daily afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms to the area. The PWATs ranged from around 0.90-1.40, which is slightly above the climatological normals for early August.
