The remnants of Hurricane Helene made their way through the Quad State region with heavy rainfall in Western Kentucky of 4 to 6 inches with the highest totals near 6.5 inches in West Paducah and in Crittenden County. Despite the high rainfall totals, hourly rainfall rates remained low enough to keep flooding issues minor.
