A strong upper level trough generated multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms across North Texas on November 3 and 4. Most of the severe weather occurred on the 4th when the upper trough swept across the Plains and a cold front pushed through North and Central Texas. Damaging wind gusts was the primary severe weather occurrence, though large hail and flash flooding also occurred in a few instances.
