A quasi-stationary boundary lingered over Deep East Texas and Central Louisiana during the early morning hours of February 12th, before slowly lifting back north as a warm front to near the I-20 corridor of East Texas and North Louisiana from the late morning into early afternoon. Grounds were already saturated from widespread rains of an inch and a half to in excess of three inches that fell in the previous 24 hours, with the approach of an upper level disturbance over the Southern Plains yield
