A warm atmospheric river system brought periods of heavy rain, road flooding and gusty winds from February 1st through 2nd. This brought 48 hour totals from 5 to 10 inches of rain over the mountains, to 3 to 6 inches into the northern Sacramento Valley and for the foothills. Gusty southerly wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph were recorded in the Valley, with gusts up to 45 mph in the mountains and foothills, with some downed trees reporters.
