A line of thunderstorms moved northeastward through the Tucson Metro area causing damage to a roof, tree branches downed, and a palm tree uprooted. These thunderstorms were slow moving and allowed heavy rainfall of 0.5-1.15 inches of localized rainfall that lead to a swift water rescue and multiple road closures due to flash flooding.
