Low pressure centered over SEMO slowly drifted eastward into the day. Tropical moisture streamed northeastward into the Quad State early morning on the 7th pushing dew points into the upper 60s to near 70 and precipitable water values of up to 1.75-2. Instability and shear were limited during the morning, preventing any severe thunderstorm development.
