Thunderstorms developed across the area as an upper level low was centered over the Great Lakes region. Storms developed rapidly along an outflow boundary from the Niagara Peninsula to Erie county. The thunderstorms that develop produced damaging winds estimated to 60 mph and hail measured up to one inch in diameter. Scattered power outages were reported.
