Flash Flood — Hancock, ME

An upper level disturbance crossing the region...together with abundant low level moisture...combined to support the development of thunderstorms containing very heavy rain. Some of the storms produced several inches of rain per hour...with the Blue Hill area receiving up to 4.50 inches of rain in a short time. The flash flooding damaged some buildings and roads...with other roads closed due to the flooding.
