Flash Flood — Jefferson, TX

Flood Cause
Heavy Rain

Scattered showers and thunderstorms affected much of Southeast Texas during the afternoon hours. Some of these storms began training over northern Jefferson County, causing flash flooding in and around Beaumont. Rainfall totals of 5 to 7 inches were estimated by radar in northern Jefferson County.
