Soaking rains over a four-day period beginning on the 7th provided the region with nearly all of the month���s precipitation���between 2 and 3 inches. The rain combined with the melting winter snowpack and frozen ground to result in widespread flooding on area rivers and creeks. There were numerous reports of road closures along those rivers and creeks.
