Thunderstorms fired across southeast Ohio during the heat and instability of the afternoon and moved into West Virginia. The area was well south of an east to west front. The storms became multicellular and formed short lines. Numerous outflow boundaries were produced.||Large hail was noted quickly, with some strong wind gusts developing as the episode unfolded.
