Heavy rains from May 12th to May 16th resulted in the Skunk River at Augusta going above the moderate flood stage level of 17 feet around 12 am on May 16. It crested around 17.5 feet around 9 am on May 16. It fell back below the moderate flood stage level around 11 am on May 17.
