A cold front pushed south into the area during the day on June 3rd, producing scattered to numerous thunderstorms as an abundance moisture and instability was available. Several storms became severe during the afternoon, producing damaging winds and hail. Flash flooding was also noted across portions of southern Arkansas from excessive heavy rainfall.
