Three days after one of the most significant heavy rain events occurred across central and northern portions of Louisiana, another heavy rain event transpired, nearly in the same areas. This event was not as significant as the previous one, only in the fact that 3 to 5 inches of rain fell. The main issue this time was that the grounds were saturated from the previous event and just a small amount of rain would cause more flooding problems.
