Thunderstorms preceded and accompanied a cold front moving across the region during the late morning and afternoon hours. The thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines. Damage was reported in Silver Creek, Busti, and Hanover. In Adams Center, the winds blew down a storage shed. In Livingston county, a thunderstorm produced nickel-size hail just north of Dansville.
