The combination of a low pressure system which crossed the region from the Southern Plains and rich gulf moisture produced locally heavy rains across Southeast Arkansas. These rains produced some flash flooding across Chicot County on the afternoon of the 15th. Some of the flash flooding affected thirty six homes and several businesses around Eudora. Radar estimated that a total of 3 to 6 inches of rain had fallen during the past several days.
